Towards Low Carbon Cities

Finlandia Hall, Helsinki 21.5.2018 11.00 - 17.00

How can carbon reduction be implemented in cities and urban districts?

Climate change mitigation is on one hand a necessity for keeping the planet livable but on the other hand it can offer important business possibilities.

European project Moder aims at reducing carbon emissions at district level profitably. The project develops tools, processes, delivery models and business possibilities for refurbishment at district level. The project’s outcome will help the key stakeholders, decision makers and urban designers – building owners, energy companies, municipalities, consultants and other interested parties – to find out ways and means for recognition of the most profitable actions and how to realise them in a district level project. More information about Moder project here.

The Event provides a great venue to innovate, network and discuss about the main topics of the field: carbon reduction and cities for the future. In addition the event will offer insights about the Moder project highlights – results and implementations.
