Architecture for Common Good – Kansainvälinen arkkitehtuuriseminaari

Helsingin Bio Rexissä järjestetään tiistaina 12.11.2019 kansainvälinen arkkitehtuuriseminaari, joka tuo yhteen päättäjiä, asiantuntijoita ja rakennetun ympäristön vaikuttajia ympäri Euroopan.

Tapahtuma on osa Suomen EU-puheenjohtajuuskauden ohjelmaa ja se tukee juuri käynnistynyttä uutta arkkitehtuuripoliittista ohjelmatyötä Suomessa.

Tapahtuman kansainväliset puheenvuorot ja keskustelut luotaavat arkkitehtuurin mahdollisuuksia luoda yhteistä hyvää yhdistämällä kulttuuriset, sosiaaliset, taloudelliset, ympäristöön liittyvät ja tekniset näkökohdat.

Tapahtuman järjestää Suomen Arkkitehtiliitto (SAFA) yhteistyössä opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriön sekä Arkkitehtuurin tiedotuskeskus Archinfon kanssa.

Tapahtumaan liittyy keskiviikkona 13.11. järjestettävä arkkitehtuuriekskursio.

The international architecture seminar Architecture for Common Good is organised 12 November 2019 in the award-winning Bio Rex, Helsinki. The event brings together decision makers, experts and influencers of the built environment.

The event is part of the Finnish EU presidency programme and supports the recently launched programme work for a new architectural policy in Finland.

The keynotes and debates of the seminar programme explore architecture’s potential to create common good by combining cultural, social, economical, environmental and technical perspectives to the built environment.

The event is organised by The Finnish Association of Architects SAFA in collaboration with Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland and Archinfo Finland.

The Architecture for Common Good programme also includes an architecture excursion on 13 November.
